you can re-locate your pool equipment

If your pool equipment pad (which houses the pump, filter, and any additional pool equipment you may have) is located in an area that you no longer wish it to be located, you can re-locate your pool equipment. However, re-locating the pool equipment is not as simple as merely re-locating (moving) the pool equipment.

There are plumbing pipes and electrical wires connected to certain pieces of pool equipment; those would also need to be re-located, which will require trenching and backfilling. The plumbing pipes connect your actual pool to the pool equipment. The electrical wires come from your main in-home electrical panel (or e dedicated sub-panel) and connect to the sub-panel set up proximal to the equipment pad. Re-routing all of the electrical wires will have to be contracted to a LICENSED ELECTRICIAN. And, if you have a traditional pool heater (regardless if it is fueled by natural gas or propane), there will also be a gas line that will have to be re-routed, which will have to be contracted to a LICENSED PLUMBER WHO IS TRAINED AND EXPERIENCED WITH PLUMBING GAS LINES.

There are a lot more considerations to re-locating the pool equipment other than just re-locating (moving) the pool equipment.

But, if the pool equipment is proximal to the house and noise (perhaps from the pump) is an issue or if you want to landscape where the pool equipment is currently located, then the pool equipment can certainly be re-located. You are advised to contact pool professionals (such as contractors or service technicians) in your area to collect bids to re-locate the pool equipment.

You can read the Pool Manual for additional information about pool equipment and how to speak to pool professionals for any type of pool work, to include re-locating the pool equipment.
