Whereas a pool repair or a pool renovation deals with operations, performance, structure, waterproofing, leak-free results, and the overall functioning of a pool, a pool remodel deals with look, feel, ambiance, eye-catching effects and the overall aesthetics of a pool.
Be advised that it is unwise to discuss a pool remodel if your pool has operational, performance, structural, waterproofing, or other functions-based issues or problems; obviously too if the pool leaks. Always repair or renovate a pool before you discuss a pool remodel, if applicable. It does not make any practical or fiscal sense to remodel a faulty pool.
If the entire pool works just fine, then dream away with the pool remodel that you have always envisioned.
While some remodel projects are isolated to the pool only, other remodels incorporate the pool, landscaping an entire backyard, which is often loosely referred to as poolscaping.
You can read the Pool Manual for additional information about pool remodels.
