Brominators

You must sanitize your pool water. There are many proven sanitizer options, such as chlorine, salt, mineral-chlorination and UV-chlorination.

Bromine is also a popular and proven sanitizer option.

While bromine is available in granular form, it is rare to find (especially in the larger sizes needed for a pool). Bromine is most commonly found in the 1" tablet from.

An automatic bromine feeder - called a brominator - is optional pool equipment...it is an automatic sanitizer that will automatically erode bromine tablets to send bromine into the pool. A brominator is not required equipment...it is a luxury item.

The brominator will have a dial valve so you can control/regulate the amount of bromine being sent into the pool.

If you use bromine tablets to sanitize your pool water, then your pool should be equipped with a brominator.
