Homeowner Obligations
As a pool owner, you will need to know "how to do this" and "how to do that" so you can properly care for your swimming pool. While pool care is often associated with simply maintaining the pool or performing pool maintenance, there is much more involved with pool care.
To properly take care of your pool, you must:
- be informed about your pool.
- be able to fund every aspect of your pool.
- be able to operate the equipment.
- be able to test and add the chemicals.
- be able to maintain and clean the pool.
- make sure the entire pool is in good working condition.
- be able to troubleshoot potential problems.
- be able to resolve certain problems.
- communicate with professionals when the pool needs work (i.e. service calls, leak detection, repairs, resurfacing, or any other related pool work).
Performing pool maintenance is just one aspect of overall pool care.
The better you are at pool care, the more you will be able to relax and enjoy your pool.
