Equipment Troubleshooting

At times, a piece of equipment - or perhaps even multiple pieces of equipment at the same time - will be problematic. If you notice or feel that a particular piece of equipment is acting or operating differently than it should, starting to fail, or is not working at all, then inspect that piece of equipment to note what it is doing or not doing.

If a problem is suspected, determine (or at least speculate) what you think the problem might be and then call your local pool professional to discuss the potential problem and solution. Once you have the information for that piece of equipment, you will be better able to communicate the problem(s) to your local pool professional, which can ultimately save time and money if a service call is required to repair or replace that piece of equipment.
