Chlorinators

You must sanitize your pool water. There are many proven sanitizer options, but chlorine remains the most-used sanitizer option, with tablets being the most popular form of chlorine.

An automatic chlorine feeder - called a chlorinator - is optional pool equipment...it is an automatic sanitizer that will automatically erode chlorine tablets to send chlorine into the pool. A chlorinator is not required equipment...it is a luxury item.

The chlorinator will have a dial valve so you can control/regulate the amount of chlorine being sent into the pool.

If you use chlorine tablets to sanitize your pool water, then your pool should be equipped with a chlorinator.
