Natural Gas Heater Parts

There are two types of natural gas heaters:

• millivolt ignition natural gas heaters.
• electronic ignition natural gas heaters.

The main difference is that whereas the pilot light always remains lit on a millivolt heater, the pilot light is only lit when you need it lit on an electronic ignition heater. Therefore the electronic ignition heater is much more energy-efficient. There are other technical and internal differences between the two types of natural gas heaters, including some of the parts and pieces in each type of natural gas heater.
